Breath of Heaven
Breath of Heaven
"Breath of Heaven" is a 24x30 inch, gallery-wrapped, all sides painted, original acrylic painting by Jess Franks.
This was Jess's first 2018 painting. The cold and snow and sky were so bright, and she wanted to capture that feeling...sharp and piercing, in the best way. So there was no reference photo or much plan, just fresh paints, lots of canvas, and her trusty flat brush. And somehow it turned out looking like she used snow to paint the clouds.
Hover over photo to zoom in. The blues in this piece are much more nuanced than a digital camera can capture.
Painted on 1 1/2" deep gallery wrapped canvas with all sides painted, so no framing is needed. Wired and ready to hang.
Lightly spray varnished.
Signed in gold on front, sign & dated on back.
**Collectors outside the U.S.: I only ship original art to U.S. and Canada. I do not currently ship original art anywhere else internationally. Please do not purchase this listing.
**Canadian collectors: any additional shipping charges will be invoiced after purchase (sorry, my website platform doesn't allow for a better method).
Unless asked otherwise, I ship via USPS Priority mail within one week after your payment has cleared. Unless otherwise noted within the item listing, I wrap the painting in craft paper and bubble wrap, then pack it into sturdy cardboard boxes with crumpled newspaper cushioning it on all sides.
Refunds and Exchanges
I do not sell paintings 'upon approval'. This means that I cannot accept a return if it doesn't match or you change your mind. That is not something I can do at these prices, which I try to keep affordable. I work hard to have clear and accurate photos. If you just aren't sure about the painting or its colors, I will be happy to send more photos with close ups. Please be sure you love the painting before you purchase it.
If a painting is damaged during shipping, I can work out a return and refund with you.

All items come from a smoke-free home, and were most likely painted while the Freakonomics podcast played in the background. It’s like Mozart for your plants.
